Finally our third hidden gem, Downtown Decatur.  Yes Downtown Decatur. And yes that is the smell of soybeans in the air.  The newly renovated Downtown is Decatur’s pride and joy! Take a ride on the free trolley with fourteen convenient stops that take you to boutiques, specialty shops, restaurants, theaters, Central Park, and more! Historic Merchant Street is home to numerous locally-owned shops and restaurants. The stores on Main, Prairie, and Water Streets offer everything from apparel and home decor to toys and gourmet novelties. The newly developed West Main Village, on West Main Street, offers a variety of quaint shops.

Yes that really is a Talbot's outlet located in Downtown Decatur.
